TAITH GERDDED CODI ARIAN (fundraising walk)

Recently the youth groups of Capel y Ffynnon had a sponsored walk to raise money for the school supported by Helping Point. Pastor Singh has visited Capel y Ffynnon, a Welsh church in Bangor, North Wales. As he talked with our church, our two youth groups decided they wanted to help.

One particular need was for a water pump and filter to ensure that the water used in the school is free from parasites. So, this year we climbed to a local reservoir, asking people to sponsor our walk. We have raised over £2,000 which was more than our target.

When Pastor Singh was with us, he said that the children in his school had chocolate once a year, at Christmas. So, our children asked that if there was enough money could some be used to give the children some extra chocolate!
