I received to give again ..

I am Sumantha Nayaka, from a nearby village, and my journey with St. Simon School began when I joined LKG. Coming from a poor family, I understand how precious education is and how deeply it can transform a person’s life. St. Simon School gave me not only a valuable education but also hope, confidence, and a foundation for my future.
After completing my schooling, I continued my higher education and earned a Bachelor of Science degree with Botany Honours. I am deeply grateful that, after my studies, St. Simon School gave me the opportunity to return and serve as a teacher at St. Simon English Medium School, a project of Helping Point Organisation.
Today, I teach children from Classes 5 to 8, including Science and Computer subjects. These children come from poor and disadvantaged families, and I feel blessed to be able to support their education and dreams.
For me, teaching is more than a profession - it is a calling. I love God and believe that serving poor and needy children is one of the most meaningful ways I can serve others. I am sincerely thankful to St. Simon School and Helping Point Organisation for educating me, believing in me, and giving me the opportunity to give back to my community.
