Esak is from a very remote village in Odisha, and is married with two children, daughter Sweety Mali 14-year-old and son Karniel Mali, 9 years old. He is from a very poor family background and this is his story:

I don't have much education.  So, I do not get any job or any kind of Government support.  Me and my family were in a very difficult situation. Even providing food to my family was also difficult for me. during the time I came to know about Helping Point and I ask the management to work with St Simon School. Helping Point has very kindly given me and my wife Mamata a cooking job at the school.   

 

Both our children are now studying at St Simon School. Another great provision by Helpingpoint. The past four years I have been cooking morning breakfast, lunch and dinner for the children at the school and really enjoy doing this alongside my wife. We are so thankful to God and Helping Point to provide us with this opportunity.
